2×4
2×4 (yes, that’s her real name) was a stray found near our facility. After not being able to locate her owners, we knew she had to become an official member of the Animal Emergency Center family. 2x was a diligent greeter and gave overwhelming moral support to our hospitalized patients. She was a blood donor and saved countless canine lives. 2×4 was a beloved and constant presence for our staff, clients, and patients. She will be forever missed, but we are so grateful to have had her as a treasured friend and hospital mascot.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas was brought into our facility by a rescue to be treated for some health issues. While she was hospitalized, our staff fell madly in love with her. Animal Emergency Center became her forever home. Merry Christmas, or M.C. to her fondest admirers, had a few favorite things: her bed, her food, being brushed, and being doted on by her people (A.K.A. our staff). Her external beauty paled in comparison to her internal beauty. M.C. truly had a beautiful soul. Her constant presence was comforting to our staff, patients, and clients. Merry Christmas was fiercely loved and her presence will always be felt in our hospital. We are proud to honor this very special kitty and a cherished companion to our entire staff. Merry Christmas… gone, but never forgotten.
